You get all 20.3 million pixels ssense with Samsung - pretty impressive for a camera to just about 5,000 kroner lens. Now it's not because you have to hang in solution, because it says a lot about the quality of the images or the camera in general. It has long been a selling point, as many manufacturers fortunately been abandoned to accentuate. But when you're up and hit the 20 million pixels, it is noteworthy because it is a number that is usually only associated with SLRs enthusiast class.
Samsung uses fortunately not a small image sensor to the number of pixels - in fact, larger than the Olympus, which is exactly half the size of normal 35-millimeter analog film. It is in technical ssense terms the size to use as a starting point, and will be the factor of 1x. Is an image sensor (CCD) half-size, it will have an extension factor 2x. The large image sensor Samsung is good news - it means that there is plenty of room for high resolution.
Samsung is gedigent built and Sony's lens visually dominant when the house is quite compact. There is good grip on the camera. It is easy to navigate menus, which have a number of good auto features. You can also run seven frames per second, if you need, and the high resolution means that there is always room to magnify.
Samsung is good to work with and delivers great pictures with many details. The high resolution roars really through. But we miss something of the power of the colors that Olympus has in abundance, or the texture that is so eminently at Nikon. Samsung wins no prices ssense for this test, but is definitely a camera, you should check out. For the price you are given a very good value!
